The best-selling novel Hestenes klan/Clan of the Horses was launched on Aril 27th 2010. It has since been translated into German with the odd title Zwichen Himmel und Erde and into Czech with the title Klan Koní.
The core message from the novel, is identical with the DNA of the two podcasts Hestenes klan and Clan of the Horses. It is all about horse welfare – and my overall goal is to improve it. The podcasts first and foremost offer perspectives, not conclusions. The idea is that the listeners themselves get the opportunity to reflect on their own horsemanship and the training methods they use. My philosophy is that the better we understand our horses – and ourselves – the better welfare we can offer.
And after 40+ years spent with horses, I figure it is high time to give them something back…
